It's not a common case for a school to produce an idol star. And yet, there are some rare cases where more than one idol star not only went to the same schools, but shared the same classrooms.
Those idols, who were once classmates sitting in the same classroom, dreaming of debuting in the entertainment one day, are now super stars that everybody knows of. The following are pairs of K-pop idols who used to be in the same classrooms at the same schools.

MAMAMOO's Hwasa and Wheein are real-life friends who have been keeping their friendship since years ago when they were in the same homeroom at the same school. The two first met in the the same homeroom in middle school, which marked the beginning of their 11 year old friendship. Apparently, they enjoyed going to a karaoke together and shared the same dream of becoming a singer one day. They went together to the same audition held by the label they are now signed with, and received the acceptance notice together. After years of longing to become singers, they are now members of the same girl group, and their friendship is still so strong that they even got tattoos on their necks and ankles to show their love for each other. With such a strong bond between the two, Hwasa and Wheein show the best teamwork on the stage.
